Since 2002, Power Amp Design (PAD) has been an industry leader in the design and manufacture of high performance, high power density, operational amplifiers for OEM applications. Our products obtain power levels not achievable by monolithic op amps but are as simple to use.  With an isolated metal substrate, integrated heat sink and fan cooling, our approach decreases weight and system complexity while increasing power density.  Our specialty is delivering the high precision control of voltage and current.

In April of 2020, PAD was acquired by Varedan Technologies (www.varedan.com), who is a worldwide leader in High Performance Linear Servo Amplifiers, PWM Servo Amplifiers, and Motion Controllers for OEM applications.  The applications section describes three Varedan Linear Servo Amplifiers that incorporate PAD operational amplifiers in their design.
